Receives funding from the European INTERREG Euro-MED program

The City Council of Lleida and the Agrobiotech Park, within the Sole MED project (Interreg Euro-MED), are promoting a new learning program for the design and implementation of startup projects in circular bioeconomy to obtain new biobased products, processes and services.
The program is aimed at entrepreneurs in the bio sector (founders or promoters of emerging companies in the initial stages), business managers and technologists (intrapreneurs), professionals in the agri-food, forestry and raw materials processing industries and gives priority to young talents aged 18 to 30 (university students and training courses).
It is free and will take place from October 30, 2026 to February 26, 2027, with a weekly dedication of 4 hours of live online training and the option of in-person attendance. It offers two afternoon options: weekday (Tuesday and Thursday) or executive (Friday).
The work schedule combines training pills, flipped classroom dynamics , company visits and individualized mentoring.
It is divided into 4 modules: Key aspects and opportunities in circular bioeconomy projects; Technological developments, scaling and visits to biobased companies; Business models, evaluation and financial planning; and Launching business projects: market-oriented design, pitch, complementary training and Demo Day.
The best project will receive an invitation to participate in person at the international Demo Day of the Sole MED project to be held in Ferrara (Italy), together with representatives of the other 5 partners from various EU countries.
This program is part of the actions carried out within the framework of the SoleMED project, which receives funding from the European Union through the Interreg Euro-MED Program. The Sole MED project aims to promote a transnational network of open innovation laboratories (living labs) in the Euro-Mediterranean area. The general objective is to support entrepreneurship through the training of young people and entrepreneurs and the development of new business models in the field of bioeconomy. This initiative is being developed jointly with 6 European partners from Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Bosnia Herzegovina. The Agrobiotech Park is an associated entity of the project and the Agroliving Lab of the Park will host the innovation laboratory in Lleida.
